Single Vehicle Wraps

Custom Commercial Bus Wraps

A bus is the largest ad surface in the fleet. More exterior, more time in view, more people seeing it per trip than any car, van, or truck.

A bus carries more exterior surface than any other vehicle in the fleet, and it carries that surface in front of more people for longer. It sits at a stop, moves through traffic, or waits outside a hotel or venue for hours; visible for all of it, parked or moving.

Queen of Wraps designs, prints, and installs custom bus wraps for businesses across Utah and Nevada, building each one around what that specific bus actually does.

Who This Serves

Not every bus is doing the same job, and the wrap should reflect that.

Shuttle Buses

Hotel, airport, senior living, and corporate campus. Shuttle bus wraps are some of the most consistently visible wraps we build, since the route repeats every day.

The same riders, the same street, the same stop, over and over. That repetition is what makes shuttle branding stick.

Transit & Charter Buses

Route branding, sponsor placement, or a full operator livery, built to hold up over the miles a transit or charter bus actually runs.

These buses log more daily mileage than almost anything else we wrap, so the material and the design both have to account for it.

Tour Buses

The bus is part of the experience before the trip even starts. The wrap should look like it belongs to something worth boarding. A tour operator's brand gets judged by the equipment as much as the itinerary.

Full Wrap or Partial Wrap

OptionBest ForCoverage
Full Bus WrapMaximum coverage, strongest brand takeoverEntire exterior
Partial Bus WrapBudget-conscious, still real visibilityKey panels

A full bus wrap turns the entire vehicle into the message; every panel working, maximum visibility from every angle.

A partial bus wrap covers the panels that get seen most, typically the driver-side wall and rear, at a meaningfully lower cost. Both use the same materials and the same installation team.

How to Design a Bus Wrap

Bus wrap graphics have to read at a distance most vehicle wraps never have to account for. Someone might glance at a bus from across a parking lot, half a block away, or through a windshield in traffic.

They need to make out the logo and the message in a couple of seconds, which means type sizes and contrast levels that work fine on a car wrap often need to scale up considerably to hold up at that distance.

Window perforation is where bus design gets genuinely different from anything else we wrap. Perforated vinyl lets a design run across the windows the same way it does across the body panels, but riders inside can still see out.

The material is essentially thousands of tiny holes that read as solid from a distance but transparent up close. It's how a wrap covers glass without anyone inside feeling boxed in.

One more thing specific to buses: emergency exit markings and accessibility signage need to stay visible and compliant. We account for this in the design and template it against the bus's actual exit points before anything gets printed, rather than treating it as an afterthought during install.

Built for the Miles

Daily mileage, frequent washing, and constant sun exposure put more demand on a bus vinyl wrap than almost any other vehicle type we build for.

The same 3M and Avery Dennison materials and the same 5-year product warranty apply here, chosen specifically for vehicles that stay in near-constant service rather than sitting parked most of the week.

Bus Wrap Cost

Bus vinyl wrap cost depends on bus size and coverage level, same as every other vehicle type we wrap. As a general range: a partial bus wrap typically runs $1,500 to $4,000. A full bus wrap runs $6,000 to $20,000 or more.

A smaller shuttle lands toward the low end; a full-size transit or coach bus toward the high end.

Bus wrap advertising costs work out favorably compared to most paid media once spread across the years a wrap lasts. See our Vehicle Wrap Advertising Cost post for the full math. These are planning ranges, not quotes; get a custom number based on your actual bus.

Why Queen of Wraps

01

Customized Bus Solutions for Every Bus Type

Every bus type reads differently. A shuttle, a charter coach, and a tour bus don't share the same shape, glass area, or viewing distance. We build customized bus solutions around what each specific bus actually is.

02

Design to Install, One Roof

No handoffs between designer, printer, and installer. One team owns the project start to finish, including the parts of a bus wrap (window perforation, exit compliance) that are easy to get wrong without one.

03

Built for the Fleet You're Running

One bus or twenty, same process, same materials, same warranty. Add a second bus to the fleet, and it matches the first, not a fresh design decision every time.

One bus or twenty: every wrap in the fleet matches

    Commercial Bus Wrap FAQs

How much does it cost to wrap a bus?
A partial bus wrap typically runs $1,500 to $4,000, and a full bus wrap runs $6,000 to $20,000 or more. A smaller shuttle sits toward the lower end of that range; a full-size transit or coach bus sits toward the top. These are planning ranges. Get a custom quote for your specific bus.
What's the difference between a full bus wrap and a partial bus wrap?
A full bus wrap covers the entire exterior for maximum visibility and the strongest brand presence. A partial bus wrap covers the most-seen panels, typically the driver-side wall and rear, at a lower cost. Both use the same materials and installation team.
How do you design a bus wrap that actually reads from a distance?
Type and contrast scale up beyond what works on a car or van, since a bus is usually read from across a parking lot or through traffic, not up close. At this scale, fewer competing elements and a clear focal point matter even more.
What is window perforation, and do I need it?
Window perforation is a vinyl material made of thousands of tiny holes that lets a design run across the bus's windows while riders inside can still see out. From a distance, it reads as a solid image, but up close it becomes see-through. It's optional, as most shuttle and transit wraps skip it, while tour and charter buses use it more often since it extends the brand across the full vehicle, glass included.
How long does a bus wrap installation take?
Most single buses are wrapped and back in service within 3 to 6 business days, depending on size and coverage level. Design and production time before installation adds more and varies by project.
How long does a bus wrap last, and how do I maintain it?
Quality cast vinyl, properly installed, typically lasts 5 to 7 years. Regular washing with a soft cloth, avoiding automatic brushes, and quickly addressing any lifting edges help it reach its full lifespan. See our full wrap lifespan guide for maintenance details.
Can a bus wrap be touched up if it gets damaged, or does the whole thing need replacing?
In most cases, you can repair or replace a damaged panel without redoing the entire bus. This is one advantage of planning the design around the bus's actual panel layout from the start, rather than treating it as one continuous image with no clean break points.
Do you offer a bus wrap design template, or is every design custom?
We build every bus wrap design from scratch around your brand and your specific bus, not from a pre-made template. Bus types vary too much in shape, glass area, and panel layout for a generic template actually to fit well.
